Discovery
Thanks to our combined 50 years of industry experience, we know how time-consuming it can be finding authentic and interesting talent. Therefore we set out to deliver a new type of agency, one that looks to bridge the gap between casting and traditional representation; discovering, developing and delivering new talent to the industry, continuously. We scout right across the UK, to find distinctive talent that we feel Casting Directors, Producers and Directors would love to work with. Once discovered, we represent our talent exclusively for work across all mediums, internationally.
Development
Another area of expertise at Hero, is the careful development of emerging actors. We act as mentors, as well as agents, to the talent we represent. Hero offers an extensive development programme that facilitates creative as well as commercial projects, and allows our talent to keep learning in a professional and nurturing environment; we aim to build sustainable careers, with the utmost care.
Diversity
We are committed to helping any talented performer succeed, regardless of their background. We constantly review our roster, to make sure it in inclusive and fully representative of the UK as a whole.

The Team:

Nicola Joy - Director / Head of Talent - Nicola worked successfully as an actor from the age of eight through to National Youth Theatre and then into her mid twenties (under a slightly different name!). During this time she built working relationships with many Directors, Casting Directors and Producers. Prior to launching Hero in 2015, Nicola spent over two years representing high-profile Directors, and was based within Independent Talent Group. At Hero, Nicola heads up a wonderfully diverse roster of both established and emerging talent.

Chrissie Soames - Agent / Development Programme - Chrissie is the Hero veteran; she brings a wealth of experience to the team. Chrissie worked as a Photographer in the late seventies and eighties. In the nineties she assisted the busy G2 division at Galloways Talent Agency. Chrissie went on to have a long and successful career as a Drama Teacher, working with a diverse mix of London's youth. Within Hero, Chrissie has a special role looking after new talent and getting their careers moving forward.

Nicholas Tasker - Founding Partner / Business Manager - Nick has been working in advertising for the last fifteen years and has gained a stellar reputation as one of London's top Creatives. Along the way he's managed to win awards at all the major shows, including Creative Circle, Campaign Big and D&AD. Nick has worked extensively in both the UK and USA. Nick connects Hero’s talent directly with opportunities across a portfolio of international clients; he also drives business development.

Stuart Brown (assisted by Barbara Fahy) - Head of Accounts / Business Affairs - Stuart was appointed Head of Accounts at Hero in 2017, and has helped the agency go from strength to strength with his 20+ years of accounting experience and expertise. Stuart has an invaluable role, guiding Hero in accounting and business affairs as it grows both domestically and internationally.
